Nozzle tube stuck in Nextruder

Hi there I am hoping someone has had or knows how to solve this issue. Chat has forwarded my issue to the next team but I am looking for resolve sooner.
My nozzle tube is stuck in the Nextruder.
there is no filament in the tube
I have changed many nozzles and or hot ends on my XL 5 head. regularly with no issues.
Only PLA and PETG used in this nozzle
The tube is clear (I can slide filament from the bottom right up into the top ( from the bottom) of the tube with no restrictions or catching
There is no debris inside the idler
There is no mark on the tube, looking inside the grub screw hole (screw is fully removed)
The connection has come apart at the nozzle. I was told to keep wiggling and pulling.
The nozzle tip is now removed from the heat block just the tube remains in the Nextruder
The grub screw is fully removed from the Nextruder
The tube that at the top (in the idler door was marked (to see movement (before the wiggling and connection break of nozzle tip) t
The tube will turn with a lot of force (slightly)

I am at a loss

thanks

RE: Nozzle tube stuck in Nextruder

I mean looks like the nozzle is already a loss and the channel it is stuck in is a single aluminum heatsink part ( https://www.prusa3d.com/product/hotend-heatsink-xl-mk4/).

I guess you have 3 real choices:

  • Chuck it and replace the entire extruder
  • Really clamp the straw and just yank it out in hopefully one piece
  • Disassemble the extruder so you can replace just the nozzle+heatsink.
    •
    • Maybe once it's partially disassembled you can discover how it's stuck and solve it from there, but you'll still need at least a new nozzle.

RE: Nozzle tube stuck in Nextruder

Hi,

Maybe there are debris of Filament between the tube an the nextruder. Sometimes they can fall down in the tube place when exchanging the nozzle. Have you tried pulling while heating?(~160°C)
