homing for every tool change
Prusa chat was no help - so putting it out here: I've got a semi-assembled 2-head that is homing for almost every tool change.
They suggested a belt issue, but belts seem fine. IT makes multi materials prints very very slow.
any ideas?

Are you on the latest firmware?
Chat support is functionally worthless. I think they're just high school kids reading a script. I had nothing but trouble with them. The email support is far better. I suggest only using that. It takes longer but it's far less frustrating as you're dealing with a technician who knows what they are doing.
I'd doubt check that the tool posts where the tools are mounted are properly fastened. Make sure they are plumb and the screws are tightened properly. I found taking off the back cover, the metal one, allowed much better access than going through the silly hole.
