Firmware 6.0.0 Alpha: Big issue with Z-height...
So I tried to install the 6.0.0 Alpha firmware on my XL/5. Update went well, but when I tried to print the exact same model that was in my Octoprint and which I printed fine before, I experienced that it was not sticking. OK, the usual: cleaning - IPA - retry. Again. And again...
So I tried to calibrate X/Y/Z, no issues. But then I tried to calibrate the tool offsets. And received a red screen with error #17107-"Pin not reached". When I looked closely, I noticed that after the first touch of the pin, the bed moved down 1-2mm, and the nozzle moved back to the pin, but because it was now above it, the loadcell didn't discover any touch....
I know it's just an alpha firmware, but the reduction of noise was phenomenal!
I now went back to 5.1.2 and it's printing like before: loud, but sticking 🙂

This happened to me too, but only with tool 5.
RE: Firmware 6.0.0 Alpha: Big issue with Z-height...
Bleh I made the mistake to flash the 6.0.0 and got the same error "pin not reached" except i went back to 5.1.2 and now am getting "xy position invalid" even after a full factory wipe and reset, guess to support chat I go.. 🙁
RE: Firmware 6.0.0 Alpha: Big issue with Z-height...
I'd like to try 6.0.0, just really do not want to come to "pin not reached". Did you resolve the problem - is the 6.0.0 usable?
