Filament sensor calibration
So I recently had to recalibrate all my settings and when I got to the filament sensor calibration tools 1 and 2 failed. I tried several things, even contact tech support and nothing definitively worked even though I was able to get them calibrated. Well I kept having problems with tool changes not having the z axis in sync with each other so I decided to downgrade my firmware to 6.2.2, did a factory reset of all the calibrations and this time when I got to the filament calibration section, once again tools 1 and 2 failed. I tried several times changing or checking something in between each try. Finally I thought to try inserting 2 separate pieces of filament in. One in the side sensor and a short piece into the extruder. But the caveat was, I inserted them in reverse order with the extruder sensor first the then side sensor and on the first try for both tools it got calibrated. Now all 5 tools are calibrated and things are fine as fuzz on a peach.
Sorry for the run on sentences. It's the best way I could describe what I did to fix my sensor calibration problem. Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.
