E-axis stepper motor turning only one direction
I had my XL printer with two heads running and had a print peel off of the plate and cause one of the nozzles to get covered in plastic.
After removing all the plastic I noticed that when I went to use unload filament on the controller I saw plastic drool out of the nozzle.
I opened the latch door and hit unload filament and the motor was turning downwards towards the nozzle instead of up and away from the nozzle to remove the filament.
I then kept the latch door open and used the move axis function for E-axis and no matter which way I turn the knob the motor only spins downwards towards the nozzle.
Is this a common issue or would anyone know how to troubleshoot this issue?
