Dwarf Board - Tool #5 - No Power

I have an odd situation that I'm trying to understand.

I damaged the dwarf board on T5 (entirely my fault).  I ordered a new one from Prusa and received today.

It's a simple replacement, but the new board has no power in T5.  My initial thought was that the new board was DOA.

Putting the old/original damaged board back on T5 showed power/lights as expected and the printer recognizes it.

I decided to test the new board on T4 and, well, it worked just fine.

I then moved the replaced board from T4 to T5 and it worked just fine.

Just so I didn't think I was losing my mind, I moved the new board (now on T4) to T5 and no power/lights and not recognized.

I have ended up with the new board on T4, original T4 moved to T5 and everything is working just fine.

I'm trying to understand this.  The new board simply will not work on T5.

This sort of thing often means that two components are at the edge of their specs and cannot interact whilst a third is somewhere in between and can interact with either.

Contact Prusa Support via chat - you will need your printer's serial number - and from the serial number and batch records they may be able to determine whether this might be long standing and your workaround is stable or a sign that a critical part is preparing to fail.
