[XL 5T] My prints are still not perfect. What to do?
My setup:
- 0.4 steel nozzle (I add +10°C for custom profiles),
- Silicone socks
- Speed profiles
So far I've done:
- Full calibration (all points passed)
- Printer on a solid surface (i also check difference between standing it on and without some printed in TPU dampeners, and it looks like when it stands on dampeners there is better quality)
- Pulleys grub screws are firmly tighten (one of them is facing the flat part of the motor shaft)
- Belts tensioned perfectly (by sound app, then by homing tower)
- No bending of the Z axis
- Trapezoidal nuts are not overtighten (screws loosened)
- Stiffened heads (no play)
- Connector pins lubed
- I thoroughly cleaned the extruder and washed the belts
Is it a fault of one of my settings? I don't see an option for easy PID calibration or input shaper/linear advance calibration anywhere. I tried printing fast, slow, with and without a fan. Or maybe I just have to wait for the next firmware version? Please, help! 🙂
RE: [XL 5T] My prints are still not perfect. What to do?
It occurred to me that maybe it was a matter of the famous "issue 602" error, but probably not, the errors are too visible.
Overall, the printer produces amazing prints, but I am not satisfied with their quality.
PS. Unfortunately, I cannot edit the previous post and correct any spelling errors, sorry.

I don't understand? Is it about spelling mistakes? Yes, I made two mistakes: *dampeners and *stripes instead of *belts. If it's about it. English is not my native language.

Sorry, I Didn't realise English was not your main language.
I Think I corrected all of your spelling mistakes for you.

RE:
Use quality filament, dry it, look for friction in filament path(s). Check whether the hotend temperature remains stable. Check that the grub screw holding the nozzle is tight but be careful not to overtighten it. It may damage the heat break. Verify that the extruder does not wobble when attached to the x-carriage.

Looks like Z issue or the tool isn't held rigidly when picked up. That cube is a mechanical issue for me.
