How to replace thew PETG core xy parts Prusa XL
Hi everyone,
Sorry if this has been answered before but I have looked and couldn't find an answer. I have a XL that was purchased before the upgraded O rings and PCCF updates for the originally shipped PETG core xy parts. I recently recieved the XL enclosure and before I install that, I would like to update the O ring and core xy parts. Could someone direct me to the best installation instructions for those parts?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
Found the right manuals via Prusa help chat. For anyone else looking for instructions, These are the best:
The enclosure upgrade guide does cover some of the parts: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/3-printer-upgrade_668674
But for the full core xy, the best option would be this guide: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-the-tch-profile-insert-xl_639940
Thanks!

RE: How to replace thew PETG core xy parts Prusa XL
Was about in the same boat.
I had to replace the sandwich board to bed control cable (as prusa had swathed it during the core xy assembly at the factory which cause boatloads of heatbed issues at high temps) and I’d already had problems with the idlers on the extruders and some other PETG parts, so I printed all the core XY stuff in PCCF and figured I’d replace all those during the cable swap as I was already having to a huge tear down anyway.
As there is no guide for replacing the cable in question, like you I found the same guide was probably the closest I would find as an official prusa doc on how to do it.
What I found is the CORE XY carriage stuff was already PCCF, but the core xY tensioners were PETG. Apparently these changes have been getting gradually phased in.
So I did swap out the tensioners. There’s also two little parts that hold the dock rubber band things in place for each extruder that were also PETG vs PCCF. I’ll do those next weekend.
It’d be nice if they actually had a dedicated guide for the CORE xy stuff.
