First layer issues...
As you can see, I can't print anything large. It's been happening since I received my printer and it's super frustrating. I know I have occasional issues with the first layer caused by oozing filament, but this seems different. Almost like it's not correctly compensating after probing. What am I doing wrong??
XL DH firmware - 5.1.0-Alpha
PrusaSlicer - 2.7.0-Alpha
Filament - Hatchblock PLA
All settings in PrusaSlicer are default. I feel like I've wasted my money on this thing. My Ender 5+ did a better job. I spent time on Prusa Chat two days ago and the person I chatted with needed to talk to the "technical team" and get back to me. That never happened, so that is also frustrating. It's a shame because three friends have Prusa printers (MK3's and an MK4) and they are all flawless. This thing appears to be a POS. I got mine "semi-assembled", so I don't really think it's an issue related to the build.
Thoughts?
RE: First layer issues...
I believe some people did have issues with bent beds due to shipping issues. Not saying that is the case here but definitely looks like an inconsistent layers which shouldn't be the case with mesh compensation. Is your prints single head or more? If more, does the same happen for other tools?
RE: First layer issues...
Thanks for the reply! My bed is slightly warped (mine shipped with the gummy pail on top of it) but only in the X direction, not in the Y direction. Meaning, if I backlight a ruler from side to side I get light under it. But if I backlight a ruler front to back I don't see light. But even the slight bow in the middle shouldn't be enough to create this issue. It's like the printer probes but doesn't capture the mesh or use it for compensation.
In the process of upgrading to 5.1.0 (non-Alpha) and then attempting to hook up Octoprint and run bed visualizer. We'll see how that goes...

Did you perform this step during assembly?
