Can't calibrate. Newbie no clue what to do now!!!
I bought a Prusa XL 5 Printer and I'm not really happy about it!
First long build up and then calibration steps which I dont understand.
My problem is that the tool changer can't pick the first hotend it keeps hanging and the arm comes empty forward.
I loosen the dock pins and both screws and attached it manually and screwed in the upper screw.
After that it happens everytime. I'm tired it now to repeat all this steps everytime and I have to do it 5x.
I'm really disapointed at the moment and can't continue. I expected much more for this money!!!!
For all problems with a new printer the best resource is Prusa Support via chat - you will need the serial number (on the back). Expect support to ask you to photograph significant parts.
The XL isn't really suitable as a first hobby printer, it's more of a workshop machine.
That said look along the line of toolhead docks from the side - are any out of line by even half a millimeter? Toolhead pickup problems are often caused by not tightening the heads into position enough, they need to be really firmly tightened.
