Update: I wanted to ensure I have repeatable z-banding before trying the fix. But for whatever reason, the prints I've been doing recently have not shown any banding. So I've not fitted the fix prototype yet. I don't have time right now to try different materials/temperatures etc to "find the banding" again, so for now this will have to wait until the problem reappears during normal use.

Hey, if lead screws can spontaneously get bent, why not spontaneously get straight? LOL!

Hey guys! I came across this post and I thought I'd just keep it all here since this seems to be a great all in one place to trouble shoot the Z banding issue. So far for me, I did the tension adjustment with the purse app and then printed the homing tower. All I see is some inconsistencies on once face of the tower as shown int he first pic. The rest of the face looks pretty good and I am pleased with the result. Is the one face thing typical? Has anyone used the homing tower? Thank you!
