XL Five-Head first power up: Gets stuck at ~45% progress
I have assembled my Five-Head XL. If I turn it on (without USB stick) it gets stuck. The display reads:
- - "Original Prusa", 0%, "Bootloader 2.3.4"
- - Progress bar goes from 0% to about 45% (almost half)
- - "Bootloader 2.3.4" vanishes, the fans of all heads are spinning
- - stuck without further progress

If I put in the USB stick that comes with the printer (on it is XL_firmware_5.1.2.bbf): Screen reads:
- - "Original Prusa", 0%, "Bootloader 2.3.4"
- - "Verifying XL firmware" (progress from 0% to 100%)
- - "Flashing fimrware ..." (progress from 0% to 100%)
- - reset it seems with the behavior stated above (gets stuck at about 45%)

I also tried my own memory stick with XL_firmware_5.1.2.bbf (4,028,848 bytes) and get the same behavior.

Update: I was able to downgrade to 4.7.5 and am running the Wizard with this version now. (Not sure if this is a good idea, but I do not want to risk at this point to get stuck again.)
I used my memory stick from the Prusa MINI and put XL_firmware_4.7.5.bbf on it (as the only bbf file). During the startup the firmware was automatically downgraded (!?), which I find a bit strange. The the Wizard come on!

Update: I am running firmware 4.7.5 with bootloader 2.3.4.
Trying to upgrade to 5.1.0 or 5.1.2 fails. In both cases it gets stuck:
- "Verifying XL firmware" (progress from 0% to 100%)
- "Flashing firmware ..." (progress from 0% to 100%)
- "Original PRUSA" with progress bar below that is stuck at about 45%
Could it be that the problem is that I am already at bootlader 2.3.4!?

Update: I was able to upgrade from firmware 4.7.5 with bootloader 2.3.4 to firmware 5.1.0! 🙂
When I tried to do this before, I stupidly had both 5.1.0 and 5.1.2 bbf files on the stick -- I was getting confused with all the different things I tried...
Note to Prusa: In stead of showing "Flashing firmware ..." please show the bloody version of the firmware that is being flashed. Thank you!
I will wait for a newer firmware than 5.1.2 now because it is pretty obvious that 5.1.2. causes issues for some people: See this discussion: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy/issues/3629
