Underextrusion(?) at layer changes
I've been fairly happy with my XL2, the built-in rocket engine model printed beautifully. But when I print these (attached photo) it is like it under-extrudes at the layer changes. I did some reading of other threads and turned off the retraction at layer changes and sped up the deretraction. I got the result in the top right photo in the attached collage. It was mildly better, but not enough. I changed the layer start location to be random, and it just left all sorts of holes everywhere. I'm running out of ideas on things to change, especially since the lower half of these parts (smooth, no scallop) doesn't have the same problem. Any ideas?!?!

Looks stringy as well. All points towards wrong temperature. Double-check the filament profile in the slicer matches your material.
An example from my own experience, I'd selected PLA profile in the slicer but was using PLA Blend on the printer. The difference is only 10 degrees but the print consistently failed until I realized and corrected the mistake.
