Trouble with PVA support

Set up my 2 extruder XL yesterday. This is my very first print. I am using a black ColorFabb TPU and a PVA from Amazon. I got the printer specifically to do this: I want to print a TPU object supported by water soluble PVA.

First thing I notice is there is a small preset of filaments to choose from when loading new filament. I’ve seen the advice here being to choose the filament in the menu closest to the temperature of the actual filament you’re using.

And when it comes to the slicer, there is another small and very specific set of filaments to choose from that’s completely different from the menu available on the machine. No straight up PVA filament to choose from here — just PVB and BVOH. Which of these works best for PVA?

Then when I go to print from Prusa Connect, it says there’s a print error. When I go to the machine, it seems the file was actually successfully sent, but now I must press print manually there.

After it begins, the print fails on the first layer. Despite printing from a dry box that’s been drying both filaments for a day, the PVA clogged and it didn’t adhere properly even though I’ve used 3D-Lac on the print bed to help with exactly this.

Coming from a Bambu X1C, this is my first entry into the Prusa experience, and it’s been absolutely horrible (this first print is just a small piece of it). Feels like stepping back ten years. Anyone have success experience printing TPU on PVA support material? What are your tips/pointers?
