Leveling the Bed of Prusa XL
Is there a way to level the Prusa XL's heated bed manually, the meshbed leveling doesn't seem to work 100%
ism not completely sure what causes this. But the loadcell sensor should regulate this.
Iam on 6.0.0 Firmware atm
Is it possible to implement a Meshbed Visualization like the one from the Octoprint Plugins?
RE: Leveling the Bed of Prusa XL
I have a warp in my bed of about 1mm. It concerns me but the machine seems to be able to compensate.
Is this a consistent failure or just now and then? Is it always in the exactly same place on the heat bed?
When I've had issues like you have here, I think the reason is the little nub at the end of the extruder isn't being cleared properly by the nozzle cleaning procedure, and when it goes to measure the bed, it gets a bad reading until the blob on the nozzle adheres somewhere and the rest of the bed is correctly characterized.
I suggest watching the process and before the bed leveling kicks in, look for a nub on the end of the nozzle. Clear it manually before the leveling starts and everything seems to work out properly.
RE: Leveling the Bed of Prusa XL
The individual tiles are directly screwed to the frame. Technically you could shim between the tile and the frame to bring the tile that's low up. I'm sure you can buy shim washers in any thickness. Check either McMaster or Misumi.
As far as determining which ones you need to shim you can either mount an indicator to the print head, or a more crude method would be to use a precision machined straight edge.
Just make sure you check it hot as the bed will move as it heats up.

Does this also happen with 5.1.2?
