Just received my Multi

I am stoked as I just got the 2 tool and I am unbelievably impressed with A) 2 day order time (although I did preorder 2yrs ago) B) 5 days from Prusa to Indiana!! WOW

I just finished the Key Chain test, and it was perfect. I have a few questions maybe someone could help me with?

1. Is there a way to create a password for the PrusaLink network rather than the generated password it creates?

2. I cannot see anywhere that allows you to heat only the portion of the bed you are working on OR is this done automatically from the slicer and model placement?

On number2 it figures it out from object placement in ps

on number 1.. I think not… I think you have to use the password it generates. I snap a photo of it with my phone.

THank you for the reply. I figured out the temp but had another question that didn't get changed in time. The initial wipe is way off at the start of the print is this normal

It is and it's scruffy. It annoys me.

RE:

Doesn’t do that for me. It could be using start gcode from a previous preset.
As I’ve posted elsewhere…

I believe there’s a serious hard to replicate bug in PS. I’ve seen it retain settings (including printer specific settings) from previous prints even after selecting a new System Preset. As such, I recommend one always chooses a system preset “Print Setting” from the pull down menu in the Plate view. Make any changes from this fresh setting and see what you get. Also, imo ALL the materials presets are way hotter then they should be.
