Issues with Dock 1 Calibration

Hi everyone,

For context, my printer had been working fine until I started printing with ABS, which is when I began to experience some printing issues. In an attempt to fix them, I decided to perform a factory reset, but things have only gotten worse since then.

During the dock calibration process, a critical error appears on Dock 1. As shown in the attached video, the printer crashes when trying to park the tool in that dock. We've tried recalibrating multiple times without success, while Dock 2 calibrates without any issues.

We’ve also checked belt tension, ruled out structural damage and loose parts, but we haven’t been able to identify the root cause of the docking error or the impact that occurs during the attempt.

I’d really appreciate any guidance or suggestions you can provide.

Thanks in advance.

Video was not attached.

But as a blind guess your Dock 1 isn't properly installed equally as the others. Maybe the dock's small insert did not fully insert into the extrusion so it's at the slightly wrong angle which can be seen compared to other docks.

RE: Issues with Dock 1 Calibration

Im still new at this but i noticed when going through my setup/installation of my factory assembled printer and with the enclosure that there were many parts for XL printers made before june 2024 in the enclosure set up manual that had to be swapped out.  They had to have different parts installed for the nextruder due to some failing due to temperature.  Was yours made before June 2024?  This was in the manual for the enclosure.  this may or may not apply to you. https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/4-nextruder-upgrade-multi-tool_690321#691206
