Blobbing color bleed Multi head XL

So I have done a few prints and have some blobbing of one tool head color into other parts of the model. Have tried different orientations of the wipe tower and the model and the blobs still continue to show up. Has anyone has this issue before? It’s not just a specific tool head either. It feels it only happens with finer details/areas that use little of that tool head.

is there a setting to fix this or something that could help this?

RE: Blobbing color bleed Multi head XL

I found that most of the time the wipe tower makes everything worse for me. Try switching it off.
Use the latest firmware and slicer. Definitely try first without input shaping, that introduces all kinds of quirks.

You have stringing / oozing on the black filament. Things you can do:

1. lower temperature (print a temp tower with the printer profile you're using, to see if you're printing too hot, standard profiles are traditionally a bit too high). IS will probably require higher temp than non-IS.
2. dry the filament (for me it's only sometimes an issue with really old spools, but YMMV)
3. position wipe tower such that it is not on a straight line between the dock(s) used and the model
4. make sure the silicon wipers on the docks are aligned correctly (see online instructions) - if they're too low, some gunk will collect already in the dock
5. install some kind of nozzle wiper
6. switch to coated nozzles

With 5&6 you should get it absolutely perfect, but 1-4 should get you to "very good".
