Gradual Layer Shift
Looking for recommendations/suggestions for the cause?
Setup:
Prusa XL 5T Firmware 6.26, with PLA,
Cylinder is aprox. 150mm dia.,
Total height of model is 220mm, it never gets that high.
.20 HF noz. using profile that uses the Prusa slicer Speed Profile
I have re-calibrated multiple times, Checked for loose grub screws on the pulleys (all tight). Haven't checked Belt tension with app but they do not appear to be loose. Will check belt tension as soon as current test print which is printing a "Structural" speed.
RE: Gradual Layer Shift
Update:
Setup Nozzle is 0.4mm HF, layer height is 0.2mm.
Slowed the print down. Got the print done. Loaded the sliced version using the SPEED Profile, and got the offset layers again. Checked tension, both Left and Right sides were to tight. Adjusted tension repeated thee Speed-Profile model, same shifting of layers. Printed a different model (80x120mm) box, with speed profile, Printed OK, no shifts. i'm at a lost on how to fix this issue, hoping someone can offer suggestions.
I have not seen this with an XL. Take this problem to Prusa Support via Chat. You will need your printer's serial number.
Cheerio,
