Several issues
Dear Prusa Forum
I ran in big problems with this XL 5 printer. I printed a four colored model and during the print I had two tool head crashes in slot 4.
After the manual correction and reference drive the next layer had a shift so I had to stop the whole print.
I saw the cables aren't not optimal positioned and I have an enclosure and maybe it scratched the top and blocked itself and caused the crashes.
So during my optimization steps the cable router 3d printed part broke in the antenna part, where the black cable from each tool head is placed.
I printed this part again and I had a lot of issues to turn it back in. First I forgot which screws there was because they fell out during rerplacement of the docks and the 3d printed part. So finally I ruined the hole in the metal frame.
The problem is now I cant diassemble the whole printer to change the metal frame. My skills are too bad to doing this and the printer would be complete garbage in the end. So do I have any chance to fix this with a trick?
By the way the quality of the printer part is for such a high price a very BIG BIG SHAME!!!!
RE:
If I really have to diassemble it I will sell the whole printer!!! In slot 3 the door crashed, too. But this one is fixed with a better door which has a hole for the allen key. Question over question why the original prusa part doesn't have a hole there.
