Replaced a heatbed tile after an error, now getting an error on another tile

Just got this XL (5 toolhead in September).  Printer was just sitting there on, after completing a print. Went to start a job, and noticed that the heatbed temp number on the LCD would never get to 60...always just hovered around 55.  Cancelled the job and restarted the printer. Booted up, LCD flashed and then restarted with a flashing orange 'heatbed tile 9 damaged or wiring' error message. Reached out to PrintedSolid, and after providing SN/photo of error screen, they sent out a new tile (3rd tile from the left, front row, FYI) and I replaced tile 9.   Powered up the printer, and now it's screeching the same error message, but tile 12 (tile directly behind it).

Sitting here waiting for support chat, but figured I'd ask here too just incase anyone else had a similar issue.

Thanks!

Do you have an enclosure? I had the XL since early Oct 2023 and was printing with no hotbed errors until sep 2024 when i bought the enclosure. My errors are different than yours (i actually get overheat errors) but they occurred after i got the enclosure and they are not present if i leave the enclosure's door open. And in my case they happen usually when i try to print ASA or ABS with bed temp around 100degress. The issue is the not so good temperature distribution, control and monitoring within the enclosure. Some parts overheat, especially the "underbelly" of the hotbed.

Prusa XL - Firmware 6.2.6 - Prusaslicer 2.9.4 - Enclosure

Posted on another tread (Hardware multi tool, no answer yet). I keep the covers of the enclosure closed, while the bellow is open (down). Usually printing PETG.

Started having issues with the Modular heatbed alarm. When turned on the XL boots the firmware, then, just at the end of the upload, it restarts the boot. At the end the XL stops showing the Modular heatbed tile 6 alarm (a couple of times overheat). I tried the entire diagnostic procedure as from the website with no success.

The only way to use the printer is to take off the print sheet with the XL switched off. Then, after the boot procedure, which now goes on without troubles, I put the print sheet on again and I start operating the printer as usual. Just for precaution I lay the parts to be printed far from tile 6.

It seems to be some kind of firmware issue, Unfortunately I am not able to relate the beginning of the problem to a specific event.

Hope this can be of some help for others having the some problem. It might be helpful to pass this information to Prusa engineers, but I don't know how to address it.
