Connector type of Motor cable

Hi,

i want to extend the cables for X Y and Z since i want to do some experimenting next to the printer. Can somebody tell me the type of connector used on the Sandwich board?

Thanks!

RE:

Hi,

the connectors should be from the Molex CLIK-MATE Series 503148 1.5mm Pitch. Motors typically have 4-Pin connectors. I would guess it is this component: https://www.molex.com/en-us/products/part-detail/5031750400 (1.50mm Pitch, CLIK-Mate PCB Receptacle, Single Row, Through Hole, Right-Angle, Tin Plating, Positive Lock, with Peg, 4 Circuits, Natural)

You can buy individual SMD sockets (female), connectors (male) and cables for tool-less crimping from Molex. You can also buy fully assembled cables in some lengths: https://www.mouser.ch/ProductDetail/538-15135-0403

For the motor side, you will need an adapter like this: https://www.prusa3d.com/product/motor-cable-adapter/

RE: Connector type of Motor cable

However, I extended the two connecting cables from the Nextruder to the main circuit board for my “XL in an MK4 housing” experiment.

You can get the Molex connectors from the most common suppliers such as Digikey, RSComponents, etc. However, I created a connector and had it manufactured by JLCPCB to extend the cables.

This means I can reuse all the cables and didn't have to solder anything.
