Can't reload filament as part of mid-print spool change
I'm trying a mid-print spool change for the first time. I had successfully loaded filament into the second tool head prior to this attempt.
When it got to the spool change, that worked OK, but as soon as it started printing I got an error about the filament being stuck. It asked me to reload the filament (see attached image).
But, how can I do this? The screen is stuck on this menu, so I can't choose to Unload Filament. And I can't do it manually; with the old blue-capped bowden tube connectors I'm used to, you could just push the cap down to extract the tube and do whatever maintenance needed to be done. But with my XL toolheads, the black caps are all flush with the metal fitting, so I can't push them down to release the tube. This applies to the filament sensor connectors as well.
Have I maybe not installed the tubes correctly? Does anyone know what should be done at this stage?
I assume I will have to scrap the print and start again, and hope I never have to do a mid-print spool change.
RE:
Can anyone help with my inability to pull out the bowden tube?
I can't push down that black collet to remove the bowden tube. Does that mean I haven't pushed the tube far enough in? I've tried to push it further in, but don't seem to be able to.
RE: Can't reload filament as part of mid-print spool change
Has no-one else had trouble changing filament mid-print?
Does no-one else have those black collets on their toolhead that can't be pushed down to release the bowden tube?
Or have I done something wrong in installing the tube?
(I eventually got past this by opening the idler door, forcibly ripping out the filament, cutting it off, and pulling it back through the side sensor. But that cannot be the correct method for what must be a common procedure.)
I didn't think I had any black collets - until I looked at the side filament sensors and yes, they are different.
Contact Prusa support via chat, you will need your printer's serial number, and show them these pictures.
