After2-5 upgrade is firmware reset required?
I just did the hw upgrade 2-5 heads and I've been getting BSODs from time to time (not while printing but while preparing to print). I'd rather not factory reset or redo my calibrations..
If I do factory reset will it erase the print stats for my XL?

A factory reset will force you to redo all the system validation & calibration stuff. I'd assume you would have to do all the extra calibration stuff for the extra heads anyways. I got 5 heads from the start though. Had to redo the calibration stuff a number of times fighting with some fan RPM range issued due to being at a high altitude. It was annoying & tedious, but not that problematic once I went through it once or twice.

Thanks for the reply Fallon,
Do you happen to remember if the print stats get erased with factory reset? Things like how many km of filament have been used per head, and how far the heads have travelled? I can deal with calibrating again even though its slow, but I'd rather not lose those stats..
RE:
I didn't do one, I only went to the calibration section and started the first one and when it complete it ask you if you wanna continue with all the others test or not, click all.
You might also be able to just do the calibration for the new tools, but might as well redo them all just to be sure.
Also yes a factory reset is gonna wipe EVERYTHING.

No idea. This was when I first built the machine so there was really no stats before I recalibrated it several times.

I had to to a full reset, firmware reinstall, and recalibration because one of my side filament sensors was stuck on 1. It's a pain in the rear end to repeat the calibration but it did the job, so I'd give it a try. Can't get worse than a BSOD.
