Printing a mold
Is it possible to print a mold and then cast a lot of the desired objects?
What resin should I use for printing the mold?

Hi Nicolas,
You don't give a lot of information
mold making can be complicated.
A simple model with good draught angles and no overhangs could probably the printed with flexible resin and used with a good mold release
More complex models may benefit from Printing a model and then casting a silicone mold off the model

RE: Printing a mold
My model is very simple.
My main worry is that the printed mold won't withstand the heat of the poured resin. Is there a special resin for that? Or does anyone have any expierience with that?
RE: Printing a mold
What resin are you planning to use?
Does it get particularly hot? can you reduce the catalyst to slow the cure?
can you water cool the mold to control the surface temperature?

Some people had success printing low-run injection molds out of hi-temp resins (such as Siraya-tech Sculpt). But as Joan said... you need to provide a lot of informations for concrete answers.
