Slic3r sliced preview to render what is actually sliced

Hi,

When slicing in FDM mode, we get the preview of the actual path that are going to be in the GCode and this is really helpful to identify problems ahead. Are you planning to display the raster images when previewing a sliced object in Slic3r for the SL1 as well?

I'm working on modelling small parts now while waiting to receive the printer and would really like to see what it is going to look like on the printed model before printing it.

Please see the attached image, which shows a sliced model view and a layer view for the same model, is this what you were hoping to see?

the SL1 equivalent to a gcode file is a .SL1 file.

An SL1 file is a zipped file containing all of the raster images for all of the layers of the model, I will attach the file for the swordsman

I have reduced the number of images and changed the suffix to .ZIP so that the file size is smaller

if you unzip the file, you should see the raster images
