SL1 - Resin stuck to FEP foil

Hello,

I've been using the SL1 for a few weeks, printed big and small parts.

Recently my prints started sticking to the FEP foil. Every single one of them for the past few weeks. I've cleaned the screen with a micro-fiber cloth, re-calibrated many times, clean the FEP, changed the FEP, tried different exposure times, and tried lowering the offset of the platform from the UV screen. I'v etried everything in the troubleshooting guide.

I tried the resin calibration object for different exposure times, and the highest exposure (13s) (3DM-ABS) at least managed to build a few layers, as opposed to the other objects.

I've tried running the wizard to see if I can find out more, it says I should check if ball screw can move in its entire range. What exactly does that mean?

What else can i try?

What 'first layer' exposure time are you using?

RE: SL1 - Resin stuck to FEP foil

I just received this printer... It is complete junk. 6 prints only one worked even though I had to calibrate every time. I have been seeing a lot of complaints on the web, same issues. Two huge problems, first it takes an hour of printing just to find out nothing stuck to the plate. Second and most important problem is there is Zero customer support. Three days of messages and not one returned response from Prusa. I am so dissappointed with this purchase. Heard so many people say this was a great business. What a mistake. Its going back today all the way to Prague from California. Getting the Form 3 like everyone suggested before I bought. A business can not be the innovator in the category with zero support. Don't buy this junk!

Have you tried Live 'Chat' on the eShop Page?

https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/

the chat window appears in the bottom right hand corner of the screen about 5 seconds after the page loads.

Do yourself a favor and check out the FormLabs forum before you commit to a Form 3.

Hello,

Problems I've been having:

Holes in models, but not vertical. They seem to worm their way throughout the model, which would suggest dirt(?). They originate at the the same place on the build platform.
I've replaced the FEP foil, cleaned the resin tank and pieces, and used brand new resin, but my models STILL have holes in them! I've tried the recommended exposure time and have gradually decreased the initial exposure because it was very difficult to remove models from the platform.

What am I missing?
