PrusaSlicer-2.3.1 - Prusa Transparent Red Tough issue [SLA material selection]
Dear Sir, Dear Madam,
It is my first post and I don't have introduce myself so far but I am in a rush for a project and I need to print 4 objects with my Original Prusa SL1 and maybe somebody can help me.
The material I want to use is the "Prusa Transparent Red Tough". I can add it on the SLA material list on the setup of the slicer but I can't select it when I am working on the preparation of the print. As a test, I can select the "Prusa Transparent Green Tough" or any other Tough material but not the Transparent Red.
I will try to find a solution but any help can be helpful.
Kind regards,
Sebastian

There is only a material profile for 0.05mm layer height. Just select the corresponding print profile and the resin will be selectable as well.
If you need a material profile for another layer height, you might have to set up a new profile and calibrate it on your own.

Hello Lichtjaeger, thank you for your quick answer.
On my test, I used the 0.025mm profile and the "Prusa Transparent Red Tough" was not avaiable. After your hint, I switched to the 0.05mm and <voilà>, the "Prusa Transparent Red Tough" material is selectable. So I guess the "Prusa Transparent Red Tough" resin is limited on some profile selection for some technical reason.
Thanks a lot and I wish you a great day!

Probably not. It's probably just not available at that layer height due to them not having gotten around to building the 0.025 profile yet.
You can build your own by running the 0.025 resin calibration test on the printer. I would start with the same initial layer time that the 0.05 profile uses, reduce the normal layer time by 2 seconds, and use a 0.5 second interval to start with: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/sl1-resin-calibration-object_112182/
You can then copy an existing 0.025 profile and change the times accordingly.

@gnat
Roger that! I will test it so I learn how to setup a profile! 👍
Thanks a lot! = )
