Print display assembly tuning
Hello,
i have ordered the SL 1 kit, should arrive in two to three days, and i was ordering some consumables from the shop. i also wanted to order the Print display assembly but couldn't find it on the store. contacted the help desk , and they said i couldn't order it as they require a log file from the printer to tune the Print display assembly.
as i understand it the screen have to be tuned to the printer, they require a log file of the printer to do that. it appears that the screen are not interchangeable once these are tuned.
my questions is what needs to be tuned in this screen/display assembly ? and should this function not be in the printer itself as these Print display assembly are a consumable part with an expected life of 500 hr..
