What will be inside the box

Hello Prusa, Hello Forum,

So far there is no description what will be in the package with the Sl1 an CurWa.
For SL1
- gloves ?
- glasses ?
- resin to start with?
- Tools for assembly

CurWa
- Alcohol for cleaning?

@Prusa
it would be nice if you would publish a new Testprint every Week so we can see how the Print quality looks like

And what type of resin to use?

Will it be possible to buy from Prusa store? and what colors/types will that be?
Any recommendations for 3. party resin?

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉

500g of resin are included. It is stated under the LIST OF FEATURES on the shop page.

As far as I know, any 405nm resin will work. So you can use eSun, Anycubic, Elegoo or something else.
There are lots of colors, flexibles, strong, clear and even bio-resins on the market.

I'm hoping they would partner with Monocure as they have a nice selection of resins and colors. I've been using it with my Duplicator 7 for over a year and it's fantastic.

I'm looking for a resin to do engineering/functional parts, preferable in clear/white with added color - Is Monocure the right resin for that?

Cant really say as far as functional parts. I use mine for mainly small gaming pieces and small jewelry for my granddaughter. Here's a link to their site, you can ask them your question and I'm sure they can give you a better answer than I can.

Thank you for the link - looks like this is a resin I will try out when receiving my SL1. Shrinkage is low (0.5%) and it can be used for jewelry too 😀
With the 3D CMYK PIGMENT SET it should be enough to start with Clear and/or White resin.

Little addition. The printer is using 25 watts UV LEDs. So for Monocure, you can't use the standard resins but need the rapid ones.

Where did you see that it uses 25W UV LEDs? I knew it uses UV LED, but I didn't see the wattage or anything more specific in the specs provided. Is there some additional source of information I can see with more specific information?

What?!? Asking knowledgeable people for information you don't know? What madness is this?!?
