SLA Model Removal From Buildplate
Does anyone have tips for removing SLA models from the build plate? I've broken one model and chipped another trying to get them off the build plate of my SLA printer. It's a cheap Chinese model; we wanted to test out SLA printing before dropping the money on a real printer like the SL1 (we do have a Mk3S, though). I bought some plastic scrapers to replace the metal one, hoping that will help. I've thought about leaving the model on the build plate until it was cured, but I don't know that that's any better of a solution.
Thanks,
Jeremy

The official recommendation is to not print the model directly on the platform. Use supports and a pad. Pads are usually thin enough to flex a bit. So they are easier to remove.

I use an xacto knife with a chisel tip blade to ease up the corner of the print (keep it at a shallow angle to avoid scratching the build plate), and then once I have a little bit of separation, I use the spatula that comes with the printer.
