SL1S suitable to print very sparse lattices ?

Hello,

I'm looking at the idea to 3D print RC glider wings. The wingload should stay very low, much lower than the current fully 3D printed planes with full single wall wings printing. The intention would be to print the structure and then cover the wings with film. As balsa is about 10x better than filament and resin for that type of application, only option is to use 1/10 material compensating with material geometry (truss, beam, lattice...). This may be impossible... but I'm happy to investigate a bit.

This is an example of complex geometry replacing material:

Target would be the structure (interleaved ribs) in https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3942687-F3RES-Wiki-new-bird/page13#post48911403

With SL1S, would it be possible to print very "sparse" lattices, with 1x1 mm beams extended several centimeters (up to 5-10 cm?) at 45° from the plate, without supports?

Best regards,

JMF
