It's strange that they have the individual parts available for the upgrade, but not the kit. There doesn't seem to be instructions for upgrading yet, maybe they're waiting to get those ready. I wish they were more open with delays, especially since they already have our money.
Upgrade instructions still missing

Some complete SL1S printers has been shipped, therefore the need for spare parts.
The upgrade kit needs an instruction to complete, maybe PR is still working on that. Upgrade kits cannot be shipped without instruction (it will be a support mess).
To my knowledge the upgrade instruction is still missing in the on-line user guide section.

Upgrade shipped
My SL1S upgrade "shipped" today to me in the USA via FedEx. Based on past experience, that means that FedEx will actually get it tomorrow and I'll receive by end of next week.

The build went pretty smoothly, only snag was the printed fan shroud, I had to slightly debur one of the screw holes as the screw wouldn't go all the way in, but other than that it was sound!
Oh and we do get two of each sticker "S" and "speed", most important part 😉

I got my upgrade ship notification this morning too. Ordered on 16 June with a spare tank.
I personally think the upgrade will be better than the straight-up SL1S. I think the new orange cover with the opaque top was made like that to save money as the older style ones on the SL1 maybe are cast instead of extruded? Or maybe the top is welded, I have no idea. I just know they're more expensive in the parts store.
My old display has many stuck pixels at this point but I'm hoping to use it for some project like a transparent clock. I wonder if I can connect it to a raspberry pi? With the attached metal frame it seems a shame to let the nice part go to waste. Anyone else have any plans? What about the LED unit?

Loving the speed on it, will save me quite abit of time! Items I print are pretty small so from just over 1 hour I'm finishing them in 30 now 🙂
Only issue im having which was present from the SL1 too so its not just this upgrade although i was hoping this upgrade would resolve it, but I get bubble lines in my prints and sometimes they appear on the surface of the print too as very small pinholes, it seems to be reduced on the SL1S though from my testing so far, but still present and no idea how to resolve it. Not my picture, but an exmaple of what it looks like:

Got my upgrade today. The box was larger than I had expected too - those measurements seem correct though.
Some notes:
• The FEP film holes are clear, so there's no little circles that will pop off and stick to everything.
• The included tank which appears to be made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, comes with three thin molded lids (why three?)
• The build plate does not come with the top part, so if you were planning on using the old build plate when the new one was being washed, that won't work. It's possible this is purposeful as the new one might be a different height. Oh well.
• The new LED lens array is beautiful. It's a shame it'll be hidden inside because it's really a nice thing to look at.
• Power supply does not come with AC cord, so you'll need to re-use the old one.
• Upgrade stickers are indeed included, so your old dank SL1 can be SL1S Speed and no one will suspect anything fishy.
• Most important: includes Haribo, 100g pocket size!

My SL1S upgrade, ordered 19th of June, has shipped today. With a little luck, it'll be here before the weekend.

Package sent yesterday, and delivered a few minutes ago. I think I know what I'll spend my time on this weekend 🤩
