Resin suitable for SL1S which can be used for end use parts?
I'm looking to print a joystick grip in resin. The resin needs to be stiff enough to handle the forces involved during use. A grip will be subject to varying amounts of lateral stress during a flight. During simulated combat, this can actually be a tens of Newtons, depending on the base used. It would be bad if the grip develops slop over time. At the same time it also needs to be able to handle a drop from about about a meter. (grips sometimes drop from tables). It also needs to be safe to handle for prolonged periods of time, as flights can last several hours.
The typical colour for a grip is black, while buttons and/or switches are typically grey, yellow or red. Due to the usage pattern, painting the part would suboptimal.
I'm not sure which resin would work for this. Does anyone have any advice on this topic?
