Replacement Parts

I'm looking to upgrade to the SL1S and wanted to order all the spare parts I may need at the same time. Does anyone have advice on which parts seemed to break or need replacement within a year?

When I ordered my SL1 I ordered a spare LCD so I would have it on hand. This turned out to be a good plan as when my original one failed at 161 hours there was a month back order on replacements. If you are going to use their FEPs, some extra packs of those probably wouldn't be a bad idea so you aren't paying as much for shipping as for the FEPs themselves when you need them. Carbon filters too if you want to use them (I use an over sized HEPA/charcoal filter for the entire room and haven't bother with the filter in the printer (which only works when the printer is actually printing)). Besides the FEPs, carbon filter, and LCD (which should now last much longer baring accident or bad part) it's a solid machine that doesn't have many wear items. Presumably the LED array will need to be replaced at some point, but I don't know the expected lifetime for that.

Depending on your workflow you might also consider an extra tank and platform so you can immediately start new prints before getting the other tank and/or platform cleaned up from the last print. If you aren't planning to regularly swap between different resins or print as fast as possible, those aren't really must haves though.
