Need a "Resin Exposure Finder" in firmware
There are countless brands of resin that respond to 405nm light. I thank Prusa for making profiles for some of the other popular brands besides Prusa's own resin.
Recently I have started trying to use other brands of resin. Currently I have to test one exposure per session on SL1. Testing 1 exposure per session is time consuming and expensive.
Several other manufacturers have a gcode instruction that test several different exposure times on a single build plate during a single print session. So a user can find good per layer and bottom layer exposure times quickly and efficiently. Something with tolerances, circles, towers etc.
Is something like this used internally to test resins? We need a similar tool for SL1 - please.
In the photo i'm testing 3 different exposure times with a white resin on the lithophanes below. Each was a separate print, separate cleaning process.

Photon users a have calibration tool
Formlabs resin printers also have a method
Surely Prusa can develop something for us.

RE: Need a "Resin Exposure Finder" in firmware
So apparently SL1 has some sort of resin calibration built in to firmware already. Just there's no official STL or a official how-to. A gentleman on Facebook looked through the source code and was able to figure out a few things. He's already figured a few things out and did some test prints:

You'll have to join the Facebook group to see the PDF instructions. (I'm on my cell, can't link the instructions directly)
Just sharing to get more eyes/minds on this.

RE: Need a "Resin Exposure Finder" in firmware
Hi,
I have put together a quick PDF guide. One thing not mentioned is that you have to replicate the object you want to test into each portion of the build plate yourself, then add the configuration in the config.ini.

You are the man. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the write-up.

Did some testing. Tested 4 exposures
calibrateTime = 0.5
calibrateRegions = 4
calibrateInfoLayers = 10
4 regions.
7.5 starting exposure
0.5 increment
9.0 ending exposure
10 info layers

@nuroo and @cerium136 How did you manage to do this. I did everything in the writeup by @cerium136 (thanks for that, really appreciate it). but the Prusa Sl1 printer gets stuck in reading the project file. Any help from you guys will be great.
