Firmware 1.3.2-FINAL for Original Prusa SL1
Hi guys,
this is a final version of the firmware recommended to all users 😎 Note that this update is sent primarily via OTA (over-the-air). Before flashing the firmware manually, check your internet connection on the SL1 first.
Summary
- New web interface
- Software licenses updated
- Fixed bugs
Detailed description
This is a bugfix release, which takes care of several known issues. Version 1.3.2 is a direct successor to the previous stable version 1.3.0. Version 1.3.1 is a non-public release because of a bug discovered after the final build of 1.3.1 was created.
New web interface
The web interface has been completely redesigned. Now, the page displays the printer's telemetry allowing the user to monitor:
- printer status
- speed of the fans
- currently printed layer
- status of the cover (lid)
- remaining time of the print
- temperatures of the components
For the full list of the features please, access your 3D printer (connected to a local network) via an internet browser. Please note that the page is read-only and does not require any authorization. This enables access from the Apple devices, which were unable to load the page due to a bug in the WebKit browser engine (Safari). A secured version with the ability to control the printer is planned for the future release.
Software licenses updated
The list of the software licenses was updated and contains information about the package used in the firmware, its version and respective license.
