Database of known brands of resin profiles for the SL1?

I see the benefit of having the possibility to test the non-Prusa resin that someone buys, but I was wondering if there is already a list of profiles of tested (for the SL1 printer) brands and kinds of resins somewhere that can be downloaded for Prusaslicer?

If not, is there maybe someone here who has experience with different brands and types of resins with their SL1 who has already established several profiles that they would be so kind to share?

There is already a big list of non-Prusa resins available in PrusaSlicer. Just click on "Add/Remove materials" in the material selector.

But those premade profiles are only a starting point. It is always recommended to do a resin calibration on your specific machine for your specific bottle of resin to finetune the profiles.

@lichtjaeger

Thank you, I know that Add/Remove option exists, but it's of limited use to me, as there clearly are other brands out there that are not on that list.

The first two brands of resin that I noticed missing from that list are Anycubic and Sunlu, which of course happened to be the two resins that I have just ordered.

I was just hoping that fine tuning every new bottle wasn't necessary.

Hi Wilko!

Any luck on Anycubic resin profiles? I just got my SL1S up and running.

Thanks,

Stu

Unfortunately not. I simply started mixing resins to get a result that I liked, and I still do that (put a bottle on the scales, add a number of parts flexible resin to a number of parts of hard resin. I also use my SL1 a *lot* less now, since the Mono X prints much faster and can handle a much greater volume.

I found this link searching through our forum. Maybe this will help.

Does anyone have experience using water-washable resin from eSun - eSUN UV / LCD Water Washable Resin?

I want to reduce the odor from using standard resin and IPA.
