Castable Green Resin

Ive recently done my first print in castable green in ultra detail, and it came out perfectly, very pleased with the results.

Ive got a few questions though:

what makes it castable?

what is the gravity of this resin? It feels like 1, but I don’t want to make any assumptions immediately. EG; jewellery carving wax is calibrated gravity to 1, so whatever the model weight is just multiply by the specific metal gravity to be cast. (Model weight = 3g x 10.36 = 31.06g of sterling silver)

why is it semi transparent and so awesome looking lol.

As far as I know, the difference to other resins is, that it burns away without residues.

It cures by light. So it has to be at least a bit translucent to cure fully.

I found this video about the general procedure:

RE: Castable Green Resin

I come up with the metal weight based on the volume of the CAD model and not of the physical print weight.
