My issues and fixes so far
I'm proud to say that I assembled my SL1 within 7.5h and it's doing it's first test print rn!
I have run into some issus and maybe I can help out some of you with the same issues.
Issue nr. 1:
In the process of tank homing, especially when the tank came back up, it caused a hearable vibration.
Fix:
I (mostly) fixed it by tightening ALL the screws that are part of the tilting mechanism.
Issue nr. 2:
The first test print failed after 2 minutes, leaving the error "rear fan failed". Testing continuity with my multimeter showed it's not dead. it had to be a defective motherboard/firmware issue.
Fix:
I downgraded the firmware from 1.2.0 to 1.1.1. Now it's printing since 40min. I will report back if the error comes back.
Issue nr. 3:
After fully assemling the SL1 my touchscreen showed an image but I wasnt able to interact with it.
Fix:
A small connector on top of the display cable was not in place. (see picture) This was not described in the assembly instructions!

I don't have anything to help with. But thank you for the picture and tip about the display cable coming loose. Mine did the same thing. Some tape seems to hold it back in very well though.

I had to move my SL1 with car after using it for a little bit.
The issue was the LCD cable or touch control cable was not totally connected (issue nr. 3). My screen at the start sequence shown prusa main logo but after two beeps (printer ready for user input) it was just black and would not respond.
