Massive shift after resin refill?
I'm printing a fairly large lid so the reservoir was too small.
After the printer requested more resin I refilled the reservoir and then I ended up with what you can see in the attachment.
Does anyone have some advice why and how to avoid this?
I have 6 prusa printers (5 FDM and the SL1S) and it is fair to say that the SL1S and I will never become friends... So frustrating.

RE: Massive shift after resin refill?
Hello Steve,
I would say this can have 2 causes:
- while you printed the first part the resin in the bottle was sitting still and was not properly mixed before being added to the printer tank
- some resins (e.g. the tough ones) have some shrinkage during the print process so it is good to keep adding smaller amount of resin to the tank (to keep the print process uninterrupted) continuously to ensure best result..
I would even try cutting the object in half, print 2 parts and join (glue) them together by dipping the parts in a little bit of resin....

RE: Massive shift after resin refill?
That was indeed the issue. I've reprinted it with refilling resin along the way and it finished without an issue.
