First print blues, Print sticking to FEP

Hello, I need a bit of help, as I am not sure what I am doing wrong... ttest print went great.... now I am trying to print something angled 45 degrese on a bed of supports. The supports seem to peel off at a certain point right at the layer height where they shloud appear... I am not sure what is casuing this. Any help would be appreciated...

Hey Zissou,

Am I right that the side that didn't work was closer to the front of the plate? If so, this is where the peel forces are greatest. This would be a good clue that somehow your print is failing when the print peels.

Therefore, there might be a few things you can try.

1. Increase exposure times a little, this will make a stronger bond between the new layer and the model.
2. Warm up the resin, cold resin is more viscous and therefore harder to cure.
3. Slow down the peel by using the 'Slower' profile in the Adjust Settings option before printing.

However, your issue might be as simple as your plate not being level so try relevelling first. You might even want to bump the front of the plate up a notch or two past the true level.
Secondary to this, be sure that you tighten the cantilever bolt really well when levelling as any kind of slipping is a real problem.

Let us know how you get on 🙂
