Cleaning the SL1 reflector

I'm in part 4 of assembling the SL1 kit, where the protective film of the reflector is to be removed. Having just done so, I find that there is quite a bit of glue of the protective film stuck all around the upper and lower edges and along the seam in one of the corners of the reflector.

Since it's explicitly mentioned in the assembly manual that the reflector needs to remain spotless, I would like to hear how I can remove that glue residue without damaging or leaving stains on the reflector. Anyone here who has had the same issue and who has a solution (pun intended)?

Hm, I havent noticed these corners when I assembled mine. Maybe the weren't even there.

For cleaning I would suggest only a soft cloth and maybe water/ dishwashing soap.

Since it isn't glass but some kind of plasticy-like material, alcohol and isopropanol would do more harm than good.
Dettach it before starting cleaning attempts, to avoid any damage to the UV-LED panel.

But could also be, that these corners are not bothering with prints in the end, because it is a way to small surface of the reflector.

Have you already tried printing?

@weichnudel

Yes, I have printed with the SL1, altogether several hundred hours by now.
It seems to work without issues, even though it does look like pretty bad quality control to me.
