Bed plates
I sold my MK3 to my brother who is having trouble. He seems to have lost the ability to choose bed plates. The menu used to be:
Info screen - Preheat - Print from SD - Sheet [sheet type]
Now he gets
Info screen - Preheat - Print from SD - Autoload filament
Why would the sheet selection disappear, and how can he get it back?

Could it be that the printer is running a older firmware? plates selection is a pretty recent function.
If this is it, a firmware update should do the trick.

Thanks for the thought. The problem was that, though the machine had been configured for two bed plates, somehow it lost that information. With only one First Layer Calibration, it offers no choice because there is no choice. Once he ran a First Layer Calibration for the two plates the choice returned.
