Pre-load to MMU is not in the menu

Hello everyone,

I just installed the MMU3 on my MK3S+ with Bear Upgrade. Firmware is 3.13.2.

At the beginning everything looked good. Filament sensor on the MMU and the one on the extruder work. Was also able to preload the MMU3 with 3 filaments.

Since then, I have been missing the option to preload filament to the MMU in the menu.

I currently only have two filaments loaded, but I would like to load more, but this is simply not possible due to the missing function in the menu.

Do any of you have that too? How can I solve this?

I looked into the firmware code and see that menu is slightly different. It is only visible if: 1) the FINDA sensor does not detect filament AND 2) the extruder filament sensor does not detect filament.

Your description tells me one of your sensors is not positoned /calibrated well enough.

When you see that the menu disappears again, I recommend opening the Support->Sensors menu. It should tell you which sensor thinks it sees filament.

Is your MMU enabled on the LCD Menu?

Hi,

Yes, I see all the other MMU functions like unload MMU or load to printhead.

So Times I can See the funktion preload sometimes not.
