MMU3 pulley motor grub screws

The grub screws that secure the pulleys to the pulley shaft periodically loosen. I am looking for a method to spin the pulley motor shaft a controlled amount so that I can tighten a loose grub screw or check to ensure all grub screw are still tight.

(Earlier today, I noticed pulley #3 was loose and the grub screw was pointing downward. I needed to somehow spin the pulley shaft 180 degrees. Eventually I got the screw to be in the correct orientation, but it took several attempts of selecting load filament.

How do you spin the pulley shaft a specific amount? (I am reluctant to grasp the shaft with pliers. As well I am reluctant to put thread locker on the grub screws)

Would be nice if there was a control option in the firmware to slowly rotate the MMU3 motor pulley shaft.

@bid3d - although probably frowned upon, I used the needle nose pliers that came with the printer to gently grab onto the shaft (away from the the grub screws) to turn the shaft.  I have had to open the MMU twice to tighten a screw.  I'm considering the use of blue loctite next time.

No one will bother with this, because this feature is completely useless. The shaft can be rotated with pliers and if the MMU and the printer are turned off, the MMU cannot be damaged in any way by this manipulation

Based upon the existence of the MK printers “move axis” control settings for X, Y, Z motors I think there should be a MMU3 pulley control movement feature as well.

RE: MMU3 pulley motor grub screws

Be aware that the MMU3 is only an add-on device, not an integral part of the printer, and a lot of people don't use the MMU3. To weed the firmware with a completely useless function that has nothing to do with the printer itself, just because someone is afraid to turn the motor shaft on the switched off MMU3 with pliers, seems inappropriate to me. The movements of the other axes on the printer are fine and necessary. And I think the developers will have the same opinion on the whole matter.
