Core One MMU3 Lite: Filament Sensor trips, but filament does not reach extruder gears

As my title states ...

I'm coming from an MK3.5_MMU3 that I upgraded from an MK3S+_MMU2. I've had a lot of success with the MMU3, and I want that capability with my Core One. I've been printing single filament on my Core One Kit for over a month without issues. I decided to add the MMU3 Lite version because I would like to switch between multi-color PLA printing and materials that require an enclosure. I can easily remove and replace the top cover. Some faith is necessary to assume the filament has reached the gears after the filament sensor is tripped, however.

I have set the bowden tube length to 450mm as instructed. I cut the PTFE tube, and it's 450mm +/- 2mm. Tweaking the tube length in the menu doesn't impact whether the filament reaches the gears. When I try to print a part, filament is loaded and changed as expected. However, the filament does not feed through the gears.

Is there something else I need to adjust or set to ensure the filament reaches the gears?
