Spool Join Configuration Mid-Print
On the MK4, I know I can configure spool join pre-print, but occasionally I notice a spool is running low mid-print, and would like to specify which spool to use next when it runs out. However, the "Tune" menu doesn't appear to offer any ability to load/join to the MMU3. Is this a feature in the works? Or does it exist and I'm just not able to find it?
RE: Spool Join Configuration Mid-Print
1.5 years later and it still still seems there's no solution. It should be trivial to add a function that's already programmed, just needs to be made accessible mid print. If there's a reason for not going that route, at least make it possible to set spooljoin as default. The printer knows which types of filament are loaded (or at least make it mandatory for that feature to work), just switch to the next filament by default.
Honestly, SpoolJoining was 50% of the reason I got it, but I rarely use it as you can't set it from Prusa Connect. And especially when printing larger models, guessing if you have more or less than 300g of filament when you're not looking at the filament is hard.
