Sold my MK4S but kept MMU3
For the MMU3 upgrade kits, they both say that you'll need to disassemble the MK4S extruder to salvage parts... but I've already sold my MK4S to help pay for my Core One. I kept the MMU3 unit with hopes to do the upgrade when it was available. I don't have the MK4S anymore to salvage the parts and from Reddit, I know I'm not the only one. Is there a list of parts that can be purchased separately that would have been otherwise salvaged from the MK4S extruder?
As a side note, the search in this forum is pretty bad so I didn't have much luck finding if someone else had already posted about it; apologies.
RE: Sold my MK4S but kept MMU3
Have you referred to the upgrade install guide? This should tell you what parts are needed.
RE: Sold my MK4S but kept MMU3
Hey, I was able to find it and go through it a couple times. From what I can tell, they're only referring to the M4 fitting for the PTFE tube to be removed from the MK4/s extruder and to be placed into the MMU3. If that's correct, my MMU3 already has its fitting installed. I don't see any other part mentioned to be transferred from the MK4/s extruder. Annoyingly, I had looked for that documentation before posting the question but couldn't find it at the time. Your reply made me look again and I found it this time around. I might go ahead and by the upgrade then and hope that I'm interpreting the instructions correctly. If I do end up doing it, I'll definitely post back here with the results.
RE: Sold my MK4S but kept MMU3
My kit is out for delivery today so I decided to look through the documentation for like the 6th time. Low and behold, I'm going through a section and notice something I hadn't before, is that you do indeed need the parts that upgrade the original MK4S Nextruder to the MMU3 compatible version. The Core One's Nextruder does not have the parts included already for the MMU3 upgrade. And this brings me back to my original issue/gripe. There are those of us who sold our MK4S to get the Core One but kept the MMU3 to eventually use it on the Core One.
Going through the documentation for the upgrade, I've compiled a list of the parts that are needed for the Nextruder upgrade that do not come with the Core One kits. Most of the parts are available individually on the Prusa Store except some screws that you'll have to source yourself.

RE: Sold my MK4S but kept MMU3
I wanted to provide an update for anyone in this situation that the parts list above is accurate. I received the parts and picked up the screws on Amazon and was able to complete the conversion. It's happily printing in multiple filaments.
Here are the links (Amazon Canada) to the screws that I used.

Do note that I the spacer was very snug on the M3x35 and I had to gently use pliers to squeeze them into place. Other than that, the rest was a cake walk.
Prusa, if you're listening, you should have these parts in a pack for sale on your site.
