Yes, Just received the email about the schedule delay.  It is what it is.  I sure don't want it for MK4 if it's not working as well as it can be.  I was sitting on the fence but put in an order promptly when it was made available for MK4 as they were expected to ship with fairly close dates... If I would time travel, I should have ordered the MK3S+ version instead as I have both printers at this point.  At this point, if I order the MK3S+ version it will not arrive until October anyway...  I'm so eager to try a few multi-material projects at this point.  Want to see if I can make some TPU/PETG items...and see what other material combinations I can pull off.   🙂  Hopefully they have things working well for an early October ship time.

Got it too.  So the MMU3 is late, the XL is never going to get here, and my MK3 to Mk4 kit is happening anytime soon.

So, they hired all these manufacturing people and the prod dev is still failing...

Same story here. I had other items in the same order, so I contacted support if it was possible to send the rest of my order, sooner in a separate shipment. Sadly it's company policy to wait until the complete order is ready to ship.

I'm sad too 😪

Bad news, but it's better they ship a finished and working product than rushing it out the door. I wonder what the issues are, seems like MMU3 is is working fine with MK3 printers.

I had an order with MK4 + MMU3 but removed the MMU3 and will place a separate order for it instead since I don't want it to hold up my MK4 order.

TBH, this morning i read my email that MMU3 Order has been postponed to October. MAN.

Well, its ok. But i hope they include some bonus like when they postponed the MK4 Kit.

I would love to know what they are wrestling with that's holding up the MK4 version, some sort of Nextruder tweakery I guess?  Or perhaps some firmware wrangling for the buddy.?  Three months is a lot of man hours worth of differences.  I wish they had bumped this up the priority scale but, sadly, if they feel it needs a bit more TLC then that's the right call.  Fingers crossed it is ready to ship in October.

Dont build your hopes up. Just checked my order and it states Expected to ship between 04/12/2023 and 10/12/2023.

It seems that the shipping will be postpone until November as stated in Shipping page.
Also, i found out that Bambu are releasing something new with line "Colorful 3D Printing,For Everyone." on Sept 20th.
I hope, MMU3 can compete with whatever product Bambu shows at that date.

Cancelling my outstanding Prusa orders was so freeing. No more trying to parse the Prusa proclamations about when they might ship something.  Haunting these forums trying to divine from the spirits why they got their orders, but I still languished in purgatory.  It is a huge gift of time and peace of mind.  I highly suggest it.

Plus, I got about a $1000 that I’ve had locked up for months.

And if they are worried that the MMU3/MK4 combo has issues and they want it as ‘robust’ as the MMU2…. That is a low bar to hit, and sounds a long time to wait.

Sadly I am in the same boat as you MileHigh3Der. I was waiting since (it seems like forever) May this year, for over $2000.00 au worth of upgrades etc. I kept adding items to the order, not realizing that this was increasing my wait, possibly indefinitely. I recently just cancelled everything. At least by putting the money back in my bank I receive some interest on my money.

I can now wait, knowing that if a competitor releases a product that is as good as, or (slight smile) Prusa actually has stock, I can react quickly.

Following an email in which I told them of my dissatisfaction about the fact that the owners of MMU2 would have to wait another month, until November when we already own 90% of the non printable parts, while the complete MMU3 kit for MK4 is announced in October for new customers.

They finally told me that there will be no difference in treatment and that all kits will be shipped at the same time at the end of October as soon as their tests are completed.

In my experience, I have never seen Prusa shortening the deadlines

And soon the next news comes that it will be the end of November after all, then they postpone to December and so on. Let's all continue to get screwed.My cancellation is out and I will sell my Mk4. Prusa was once. Bye Prusa.

I can understand that! But I will stick with Prusa - because I like the quality and want not a Chinese noisy monster.

I think Prusa delayed the shipment of the MMU3 upgrade because of very bad feedback on the MMU2. This time they want to get it right in the first. And all what I have read on the MK3 with the MMU3 makes me hope that the MMU3 on the MK4 will a start and forget machine with excellent results.

But I'm inpatient too and really don't like the communication of Prusa.

The thing that I find most annoying and soul destroying, is that Prusa announces new products that will change the world, then either underestimates the enthusiasm with which they will be adopted, or even worse, knows full well how well they will be received, but does not produce enough of them anyway.

When they said that they were hiring more people for production, we should have known that these problems were not going away anytime soon…

On the other hand, the solution is staring us in the face, literally.  Prusa is an EXCELLENT idea company.  Printable and Prusaslicer are winners.  You get to filament and they are just OK, you get to designing printers- excellent, but production, physically making things is where they fall down, hard.

If only there were a way to distribute manufacturing and let people make their own printers…. 

Anyone, anyone, Bueller???

I guess there may be some more proprietary parts, and I  know they don’t want to do it, but allowing us to buy a license for a printer and maybe a few parts would help ease the supply.  Plus get more feedback faster, from people that can give good feedback.
